Dear Mother, Dad & Mary,Hi! Here we are in the midst of another week. Your letter came on Monday -- thanks for all the clippings. We had some friends over for dinner last night. They have 2 little girls (6 & 2½) so Wendy had a good time. Since Bob & Emily (who we are going to the coast with) are moving away this summer we figure we better get to know some other people better. Plus it is so much nicer to have people over now that we have more space.
Tonight after work we are going over to the Jackman's to get the run down on the cabin, the keys, etc. and then Bob & Emily are coming over so we can plan what we want to take. The cabin is in Yachats (pronounced Yah-hots). This weekend is Loyalty Days festival in Newport so we plan to go over there on Saturday.
Tomorrow night Wendy & I have appointments at the beauty shop, she's getting a trim and I'm getting a new permanent. So we are keeping busy this week.
We had our first outdoor BBQ last Sunday. We grilled hamburgers with Bob & Emily and then watched "Same Time Next Year" on HBO starring Alan Alda. It was a good movie.
Well, it is our lunch hour and it's time to go back to work so I better close.
