Glendale without Serena

Glad to read Serena's long post complete with pictures. Glad at least one of us is posting regularly -- Thanks, Serena! Had a busier day at the Main Library today after yesterday's shift at Velma Teague. Made me glad (again) that I didn't get that manager job down there two years ago. Of course if I had I'm sure I would be telling you how glad I am to be there. I can remember being told as a child to "hope for the best, expect the worst, and make the best of whatever happens" and that is a good saying to live by in my opinion! Thanks, Mom & Dad!
