Dear Mom & Dad,Hi! I thought I should get this letter off to you right away since I have no idea how long it takes a letter to get to Great Britain.
Things are more lively here in Colfax now that Wendy is home. She is excited about beginning her swimming lessons this morning. They run for two weeks from 10:45-11:30. First is my exercise class at 8:30 – Wendy will go to the babysitter's down the street for an hour.
Your Elderhostel classes sound interesting, especially in combination with the field trips.
We had an interesting trip up the East side of Lake Coeur d'Alene on Saturday before picking up Wendy. We ate at Tony's which is supposedly the best restaurant in northern Idaho. We had eaten there six years ago when we vacationed there before moving to Madras.
Wendy has filled this side of the page with her art work. She is sure enjoying all the toys she brought home from Ohio.
We called the airlines last night. Her suitcase was located in Chicago and was to arrive on the same flight that Wendy took the day before. It should be delivered to us today.
Love, Catherine, Gerry & Wendy
