Dear Mother & Dad,Hi! Are you having winter weather yet? The most noticeable difference here is the shorter days and the cooler mornings. We bought Wendy a winter jacket last week. The first two winters here she only had a light jacket but now that she is more acclimatized she felt the need for something heavier.
Gerry is now working every Saturday and taking Tuesday off (for the winter season). This works well since I often have Tuesday days off. We played golf today and hope to play again next Tuesday. Due to trading hours I also have the evening off so we are going out for supper with Roberta and Sid.
We have a conference with Wendy's teacher tomorrow night. Then Wendy has Thursday & Friday off. I have Friday off for Veteran's Day.
How was your meeting, Mother? Roberta said you were busy cleaning the nooks and crannies. When will the lady who stays with Grandma be able to stay again?
Less than 5 weeks (by the time you get this) until you will be arriving here. Wendy & I are thinking of going to see the play "Scrooge" at the Herberger Theater downtown in December. (We haven't found out how much the tickets cost yet!) Shall we assume that you would be interested in going with us?
