Ten years after the first Uible Elderhostel tour – to Scandinavia – HH and Jean are visiting Ashland Oregon for an Elderhostel Shakespeare experience, following meeting the Morgans in Portland and traveling to Olympia, Washington with them.  Transcription follows.

Now in Ashland - for the E week.  Had a nice visit w/the Morgans, then spent last night in Jacksonville - 1 of 3 places in the U.S. where the whole town has been declared a national monument.

Went to the Brett Summer Music Festival last night - open air amphitheater - you could go early & take a picnic & eat on the grounds - one restaurant had a "special" picnic for "only" $20 a person.

2 groups of EH here studying same things.  Have talked to one form Sun City - about 60 altogether.
