Dear Family,
Hi! It's 8:15 -- we've had our breakfasts & hot showers -- we are getting ready to go to the Kohl's Ranch -- 9:00 AM service!!
Dad -- we've had trouble all weekend getting the fires going -- according to Marion we must be using too green of twigs!! We do ok tho once it finally takes off! Have been using from our collected pile -- should go out this afternoon & gather for the future!!
We had to buy a new heating element for the hot water tank -- it cost just under $10.00 -- sure beats buying a new hot water heater!!
Sorry I missed your phone call -- didn't know at first whether to believe Marion about the Alaska Cruise -- but I did call up & reserve 2 places -- lowest price accommodations -- for wheel chair. They will get back to me on Monday.
Sally & Vera (the 90 year old) are up here w/us -- sorry you folks couldn't make it this weekend.
Thanks for all -- we really enjoyed your stay -- sorry that MV & MY couldn't make it -- & Grandma -- see you in September!!
