Tuesday 1989 - [Wendy visiting] Slept over at the church in the van "tent watching" for the Bible School tents.  Good rain.  Mother got new garden hose at K-Mart.  Our first visit to TGBY [TCBY? TGI Fridays?] in Wilmington, got Belgian Waffles, we had 2 for 1 coupon.

Wednesday 1990 - Cut back grass along our walks, also shrub between our houses.

Monday 1994 - [Leadville to Glenwood Springs Colorado with Aunt Mary] Drove to Glenwood Springs where we stayed at Hot Springs Lodge, had lunch at the Little Nell Hotel [in Aspen], a fancy place, also wandered through the Hotel Jerome.

Tuesday 1995 - [Elderhostel Marine Expeditions program ends] Back to NYC from Elderhostel trip, at JFK Hilton, $139 + about $20 tax, a great breakfast included and to think that [in the] AM we had gone swimming in Iceland at the Blue [Lagoon].

Thursday 1996 - Catherine called us about Wendy having her gall bladder taken out.

Friday 1997 - [Roberta and Sid visiting, to Somerset] We met John Julie and Kate at US-68 and I-71 and left car at Bob Moore's for trip to Somerset.  Had reservations at Somerset Lodge, Room 201, 203, 204 at $50 each per night.  Had supper at Mexican Restaurant, Casa Grande.  Serena arrived on schedule.

Sunday 1999 - [St. Louis to Columbia MO, with Serena] Nice breakfast at the Hotel [Hampton Inn], then to the Arch, no wait at 8:10, left there at 11 and went to Art Institute for nice buffet, $13.45.  (The Ritz was $42.)  Visited History Museum, then to Columbia, Fairfield Inn at Exit 128.  Had snack at Steak 'n Shake.
