Mary Uible given bridal shower

Mary Uible was the guest of honor at a bridal shower Monday evening at Wilmington College's Pyle Center.  The shower was hosted by Jan Widman and Karen Couch.

Guests introduced themselves by telling how they were acquainted with Mary, and games were won by Deb Higginbothan and Liz Haskins.

The refreshment and gift tables carried out the bride's color scheme of burgandy [sic] and pink, with a floral centerpiece a git to the bride from the hostesses.

Guests in attandance [sic] were Teri Tegeder, Sally Rader, Elaine George, Krista George, Aimee Rouse, Deb Higginbothan, Liz Haskins, Jenny Stryker, Ann Moore, Jean Uible, Helen Weekes, Georgialia Hannah, Nancy Colvin, Fran Unger, Doris Kuehn, Jeanne Liggett and Donna Stockton.

Those unable to attend but sending gifts were Gladys Uible, Mie Young Reed, Colleen Groh, Barbara Kaplan, Pat Zeller, Julie Foell, Lori Kemp, Lisa McAllister and Yvonne Ufford.

The marriage of Mary Uible and Don Crowson will take place May 12 in Wilmore, Ky.
