Dear Mary,
Hi! Thought I'd write you a letter while we are watching the Jerry Lewis telethon. We haven't done too much this weekend but rest and relax. Yesterday we went down to Sisters, about 50 miles from here. We had lunch at a pizza place which is the best pizza we've found since San Diego. then we went out into the woods from there to commune with nature during the afternoon. Wendy enjoyed running around. On the way home we had supper at a Chinese restaurant in Redmond.
How is band going? Have you performed at a football game yet? What did you all do with John & Carol home for the weekend?
We're having the apartments inspection on Wednesday. Sure wish you were here to help me get things cleaned up and to keep Wendy out of my way for awhile. I'm no6 going to worry too much about it.
We have been showing off our new Velva-Sheen shirts. All our friends are envious. I was thinking I should have got one of those night-shirts like you got for DeeDee. If you go again do you think you could fine one in her size. We could give it to her for Christmas. Or maybe it is something you folks would want to give her. Whatever
