John, here is an item that was in last Sunday's N.Y.T., which maybe of interest to you.

School starts here today - your Mother is "still going strong."
Reading a book "Route 66" -- 18' wide & was not all paved until 1928. I recall coming back from FL in the early 30's & the paved road was just 1 lane wide -- just think of the changes coming in the next 50 years.
