Dear Mom, Dad, Roberta, Serena, John, Mary and Grandma,
Hi! We've been home about 20 hours now so I thought I'd send you a thank you message. So, thank you to Mary for the bedroom and the advice, thank you to John for all the exciting monopoly games, to Serena for her old clothes, to Grandma for sewing them up, to Roberta for all the plastic containers, and to Mom and Dad for apples, potatoes, sandwiches, etc. We had a really good time so thanks to you all.
We got back in pretty good time. We took Rt. 30 over towards Ft. Wayne but turned north on Indiana Rt 101 and took that up to Angola (?). We didn't run into heavy traffic until I-94.
Mike did get in last night. We had given up on him as the last bus from Chicago came in about 9:30. He couldn't find our phone number though when he first got in -- so he finally came up with it at 11:00 and we went in and got him then.
It's been snowing some today. It's not too cold though so it's all wet and slushy outside. Could get bad tonight when it gets colder.
Classes all seem to be aimed at the end of the semester now so it'll soon be over.
Mike will be leaving tomorrow afternoon so then Dick and I will have to get some studying done that has to be wrapped up in the next couple weeks.
On the last part of our trip home our gas mileage came out 28.7 which is phenomenal since our previous "high" had been 21.0
Mom, everybody liked your cookies so well that I had to make more this morning to keep up with the demand after yours were all gone.
Well, we go to work in about an hour and I have some other things to wrap up.
