Peach tells me that there has already been several rehashes of the same stuff in her letter, to which she is still adding.
Yesterday afternoon Roberta and I went to Wilmington, picked up Grandma's chair at Rice Furniture and then met Roberta at the library where she had picked out three books. Also, she got for Serena a big black fish at the 5 & 10, which when put in the same bowl with the gold fish had a merry chase, so we separated them.
Charles put on Roberta's new light and she tried it out last night between here and Irwins. So far it does not put out a too steady a light, but then an alternating light does attract more attention than the steady glow.
Wilson told me yesterday that he did not think all of you were leaving until today. Said his toilet stool really got to leaking yesterday so did get Daye on the phone and they came down and replaced the defective one, which Wilson said they had promised earlier.
Had a big surprise yesterday when Plummer Seaman finally arrived after having spoken to him back in September.

Glad to get your card from Berea in the morning mail. Serena and Roberta were glad to see their pencil and pen were working. Will check on the faucet when I go down to mail this letter, tho I remember they were left open.
