Dear Catherine,
Are you all settled in school? It has been rather warm here.
We have been sawing wood for the Furnace. We got 4 loads this week. I went to Wilmington shopping Thursday and to W.S.C.S. Friday and to a shower Friday night.
I have talked to your Mother about 3 times this week. We hope you are having a nice time

Dear Catherine,
Well its soon Mothers birthday again. Remember last year you were out here for dinner & it snowed & sleeted all day. Well its the same thing this year. The radio says every-body stay home.
I am cleaning house & putting up a few Xmas decorations. I have a new green table cloth. And I made a white & gold wreath with a big white & gold candle for a center piece.
