Dear Grandma,
Hi! It is strange to think that as I write this letter you are in Mesa, with Roberta, but by the time it arrives in Ohio you will be there waiting for it!
We were sure glad you and Roberta were able to visit us. I hope you had a good time. We certainly appreciated seeing you and thanks for the winter accessories for Wendy and the money for us. We thought we might use it to buy the foam for the back of the truck that I checked on that day we were in Bend. We have been wanting to get that for quite awhile.
It has been even colder here since you left. Today the high was in the 40's and tonight it is to get down into the 20's. Brrr! Roberta would never be able to stand it. Wendy and I wore our mittens when we walked today.
This letter from John arrived today and I thought I would enclose it since it is written to you also. You'll have to tell him to send us a picture of their house. We would like to see what it looks like.
And be sure and say hello to Joe for us. Too bad he won't be making the western circuit this year. We would have liked to see him.
Hope your trip home went smoothly. We are eating the apples!
P.S. We will send you some pictures after we get them developed. We have a few more to take first!
