2002 Chautauqua

Chautauqua, New York – an adult education center and resort – visited by Uibles occasionally through the years.

This is our house for five nights on an internet "deal"??  We have been eating out on the hotel porch.
Heard Andrew Young speak today.  One can sign up for 2 -½ hour periods for the internet use,  P.L. [public library] open from 9-5.

Left Chautauqua on Friday and went to Corning where we saw [furnace?] glass, Seneca Falls where Women's Movement began about 154 [in 1848] years ago.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Georgia in less than two weeks by the time you get this.

HH reports: that 2002 trip to "C" was iffy as your Mother was having some health issues then. It turned out OK. When we are younger we think there will always be a tomorrow.
