1992 Horton Golden Anniversary

The combination Golden Anniversary of Bill and Mary Horton and the 100th Birthday of Mary's mother, Gladys Hiestand Uible's birthday was held June 20, 1992 at the Senior Citizens in New Vienna, Ohio.  It was well attended by Hiestand and Uible relatives and son-in-law Larry Kintner made a memorable tribute to the fifty year marriage.  Clipping transcribed below.

Golden Anniversary

WILLIAM A. and MARY UIBLE HORTON, 1025 North B Street, Lake Worth, will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary, June 20th, in the Senior Citizens Center, New Vienna, Ohio, the event to be hosted by their four children, Joseph, Marianne, Cris and Robert, all graduates of Lake Worth High School.  They have five grandchildren.

They were married on June 24, 1942, in the King Avenue Methodist Church, Columbus, Ohio, located adjacent to the Ohio State University Campus, and have resided in Lake Worth for the past 40 years.

Mr. Horton was employed by six different stock brokerage firms in the area, through acquisition and merger, and retired from Dean Witter Reynolds, West Palm Beach, in 1982.
