Dear Mother & Dad,
Hi! Thanks for the letter -- your new typewriter is quite impressive. What kind is it?
We did some Christmas shopping on Sunday, taking Wendy and a friend to Metrocenter. Last night Wendy and I went to Walmart but didn't find much there.
We are interviewing at work this week for a new YA librarian. Of the six interviews, three will be by phone as they are out of state.
Wendy is getting the house nicely decorated for Christmas and we plan to "unbox" our tree tomorrow. This will be the fourth year for this tree and it seems to be holding up well.
It's about time for me to get to work so I better get a move on! We are doing a holiday reading program this year -- Dec. 21 to Jan. 4. Kids can earn a Jack-in-the-Box hamburger coupon with 60 minutes of reading and another 60 min. is worth an ice cream cone at Thrifty Drug.
