Yes! I remember it being a great place to practice bicycle riding and roller skating when Dad would take us there ususally on Sunday afternoons to show us the weekly progress. Mother would always use it as a chance to point out the "fools" names or initials that would have been scrawled in wet cement and how we should never do that. "Fools names and fools faces always appear in public places." I got the point about not writing in cement but always wondered how one was supposed to appear in public without showing one's face.
I don't remember that much at all. I have very vague recollections of going down to see the new building, but that's about it.
