SAT AM [11/7/70]
Hi! We are in Portland for the weekend. Pam and I came in last night and went to Lloyd Center for awhile then came to Multnomah School of the Bible where we stayed all night and will stay here till tonight. We had to walk 40 blocks because the buses ran only every so often. Wow! Got a ride in to Portland last night but will have to take a bus back to Newberg tonight. Called airport $126.00 (coast fair) - United's cheapest. found out cost $90 (Wow) some dollars by train $65.00 only gets you to Chicago.

Hi! Now at bus station waiting on bus to go back to Newberg. Have had a wonderful time in Portland. But must go back & study tomorrow. Ugh!
Bus came at 10:45 -- takes app 50 minutes to get to school. We have to be in by 12:00 midnight sharp. Hope the bus isn't late!!! Portland is a great city! We were all over it today. Walked & took buses!
