Dearest CatherineWill start this while waiting for John & Daddy to return to hotel room.
Spent a couple of hours with Roberta and then up through New Cumberland to see some old friends and on here. [Beaver Falls, PA]
Aunt Virginia called last week to say she had a chance to ride to California & a place to stay there so is on her way today.
We tried to make a reservation at Kalamazoo Crosstown Holiday Inn but no vacancy there & none on the freeway (Holiday Inn Express) for Oct. 27 (Fri.) so if you would care to call the Downtowner Motel where we stayed before & see f you could reserve a room there that night. Otherwise we will keep the reservation we made at the Battle Creek Holiday Inn to be sure we have a couple of beds someplace. [Must be a big game at W.M.]
We are now on our way and may make it to Gerard PA for church. It is a bit out of the way but Daddy's old friend – Marian Plum's parents live here so there is some incentive to head for there.
It was so very foggy but after we'd driven about 10 miles it suddenly lifted.
Hope you got through all the tests, quizzes and exams OK before the big day yestserday and got to take part in the Homecoming Festivities. Remember Debbie Smith & that all work & no play makes Debbie a dull girl.
Our tentative address at Montreal will be at the Queens Hotel. So if you have any luck in a room send us a card as we will be there thru Wed. Or Daddy says to write us at King Edward - Sheraton Hotel, Toronto, hold until 10/27/67.
Looking forward to seeing you next Friday so you can give Daddy a big birthday hug.
