| Caption: Quilchena Hotel Quilchena, B.C., Canada A landmark in B.C. since 1908. Riding -- Golf -- Water Skiing  July 17, 1971 Hi! Had a Good day today -- fixed & ate ground-hog -- not bad, but didn't get all the hair burned off before roasting it. UGH! Went to Dr. -- I'm (rash) is so much better -- getting all dried up! YEAH! Tomorrow plan to go swimming -- oh -- big forest fire about 20-30 miles from here. Quilchena filled with smoke because of it. Only about a month left on the Reserve --so little time!! Since I last wrote it has really gotten HOT here -- 102º today but doesn't feel that hot at all. Had ground-hog today -- TO EAT! I helped fix it -- new experience!!
