Sunday PM --
Hi, Grandma!Just got back from Sunday Evening Church -- attendance sure has hit bottom! Last week was a special music program & only 36 people were there! Tonight a high school choir from New Mexico -- some 140 people in the group (choir) -- and only about 50 people in the audience -- looked kind of lop-sided.
We're having such beautiful weather -- just hate the idea tho of the heat coming soon -- now only in the low 90's --& thats fine as long as you don't have to be outside during the day!
Last night was the retirement party here for one of the teachers Marion works with. Some 20 people here -- sure was a busy day -- to complicate matters all the more they came at 8:00 AM -- to pour the back porch -- it had been slanted the wrong way originally. The trouble was we wanted to set up the tables -- etc. out back. About 12:00 we set up a Plank & I must have made 100 trips back and forth. By evening when the company arrived the concrete was ok to walk on -- Now we are just worried that the cement that got spilled on the grass won't kill it. Grass is hard enough to keep in Arizona!
This is my last week of school -- have my "project" all done -- now all I have to do is "defend" it Wednesday night. Three more weeks of Aerobic dancing -- really like it!
