Dear John,Hi! Here I am trying to get caught up on my correspondence and you are on my list! How is the campaign coming? What are you going to do after the election? You are more than welcome to come and visit us. Debby called us last night and said she had quit her job and we invited her to come out for awhile but I doubt if she will. Gerry is trying to talk her into going to school to become a dental tech. or something like that.
Gerry's new job is OK but kind of slow paced so his days drag but he is able to come home for an hour at lunch. We figure we better stay here for a couple years to build up some longevity on the job record. The town is pretty nice – 2500 people and it is the county seat. Everyone seems friendly so we are hoping to make lots of friends to help us get through the cold winter. They don't get much snow here but the wind is strong and I guess it gets COLD.
We got a letter from Roberta yesterday and she certainly sounds enthused about her new job. Hope she continues to like it. Of course we haven't heard anything from Serena but I was thinking about writing her a letter.
Well, let us know when you will be arriving. Madras has bus service but no Amtrak.
Write after you get done politicking!
Love,
Catherine, Gerry &
Wendy
