HH's Diary 1989-1999 [lightly edited]
Saturday 1986 - [Philippines and Korea trip through 10/10/86]
Thursday 1989 - [Roberta visiting] Roberta brought a projector stand for her VCR camera.
Friday 1990 - [Freeman "Bill" Dailey visiting] Bill Dailey (Jean's nephew, born in 1937) here for weekend. Went to Murphy Theater, Daniel Lord's program with Marionettes, quite good, especially the one playing the piano.
Saturday 1991 - [Roberta arrives] Don and MV left about 11:45 for wedding in Urbana, we went to CMH Hospital, 40th Anniversary, ice cream for 10¢, just like it was in 1951, nice tour of the new surgical wing, then to Columbus to meet Roberta at the airport, then to Hillsboro to see GHU who was wide awake. Rev. Johnson had brought her a fruit bowl, then to Lions Club for Blackburn Fish dinner benefit, 7-year-old boy who lost his leg in lawn mower accident.
Monday 1992 - [Seattle and Far East Trip with Liggetts]
Tuesday 1993 - [New England and Nova Scotia trip through 10/10/93]
Wednesday 1994 - Don Walters spoke at our Lions Club on the Barnabas program, then a video on how the schools are in bad condition.
Thursday 1995 - Angela, Laura, and Wil brought back MUH from Indiana. Heavy rain today, went ⃞ dancing. PJW came in to get Wells tax return done.
Saturday 1996 - [Newark to home] We went with John, Julie and Kate to Jacksontown, about 10 miles South of Newark, UMC for their once a month breakfast. Left about noon, Jean drove all the way. Took MUH to Hillsboro Senior Citizens where Ed and Evie Johnson were celebrating their 50th Anniversary. Their grandson, Eric, had gotten married. Cris and Angela arrived here about 5 and they got away with MUH about 7.
Sunday 1997 - [Freedom Years Riverboat tour]
Monday 1998 - Mothers Club meeting at Waynesville, Nancy Harrison S and her Mother on the piano were the program. Dinner was family style with lettuce salad, ham, turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and corn and big piece of pie, $11.95 tax and tip included. We took Leone Wolf.
