HH's Diary 1989-1999 [lightly edited]
Friday 1989 - Went to Cincinnati to Estate Planning Institute at the Westin Hotel, $110 for early registration, or $130 for later. Jean met Jeanne Sanker, they got Honda serviced and also visited new shopping center on north side of city. Evening Church Services - Key Event, the Whites and the Strops [?] came at our invitation.
Saturday 1990 - Called the Hortons so surprised when Roberta was also there. She came on Thursday and is going back on GHU's ticket on Tuesday. Glad she had chance to "meet" Judy. Went to Wilmington saw the movie, Steel Magnolias. $2.50 in the afternoon, $4.25 later.
Sunday 1991 - [Somerset to Ohio] We went with the Crowsons to Sunday School and Church and drove by their prospective house to rent in Ferguson. Don said he has gained 20# since marriage. They fixed dinner in their electric wok. We drove home via Hillsboro, Mother seemed pretty good. Had 5 young girls at our evening prayer service, winding up Book of Daniel.
Monday 1992 - Crowsons here. MV and Don went to Emmaus Walk. Weather has been great so far this month, but today down to 15 degrees with snow.
Tuesday 1998 - Went to Wilmington at 3 and had supper at KFC (cole slaw 95¢), then went to Emmaus gathering. My first since don't know when. Made final reservation for dinner at Williamsburg for 6/9/98, they have trouble getting all of us (19) in at 7:15, first wanted us to come at 8:45PM.
