Book choices
Sometimes I like to read holiday books this time of year, but don't think that will be the case this year as I have too many other ongoing book reading projects -- see list below. Anybody else got any good books in process?

Catherine, you sound so ambitious...I can't say I'm reading anything at the moment other than some frivolous magazines! Dad, of course, read about 3-4 books while they were here.
And I want you all to know wthat in my bathroom is the most recent Guidepost and a May 2007 OPRAH, the month of my birthday I might mention, but it will come again in 2008!
2008 . . . isn't that your 60th birthday?
Roberta was born in 48???
Maybe it was 1946.
1951....And I am reading this....
We have lots of pumpkin pie at the Kings, if anyone wants any let me know.
And there aren't even any pictures.
I read today in Family Circle that Pumpkin pie was one of the healthiest of the pies one could have had at Thanksgiving---way ahead of Pecan, which is full of sugar AND fat. And I thought RUK was born in 1951...Serena, you were born in what year?
1964
What did happen in 1964? Other than an election? Roberta the reader
Comments here seem to have lost the thread of the books I'm reading! Do we need a post about birth years? Meanwhile, just wanted to report that I finished Desolation Island, #5 in Patrick O'Brian's series and I'm almost done with #5 of the Ga'Hoole series, still only half way through The Unvanquished, a Civil War novel by Faulkner.
