Dad had a couple of Packards and a Lincoln in the mid-thirties when we went to CA in 1935. We have a picture somewhere of CJ getting out of the Cadillac in front of Wells. Wen I was a kid he had an Essex for a work car, then later a Ford coupe, which we inherited and we put you in the window sill.

Perhaps I bored you earlier about Uncle Bill's old Chev.which Mary and I drove out to Seattle, where Bill was stationed in the fall of 1944. Recall the bumper coming loose on one end which we used some bailing wire tgo keep it together. From there I thumbed down to Stanford.Catherine Uible Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02229128004745240802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31956947.post-28457979964096066652008-01-10T23:07:00.000-05:002008-01-10T23:07:00.000-05:00Car models and makes are like babies who can't tal...Car models and makes are like babies who can't talk - not all that interesting.Serenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10554501674052319714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31956947.post-62957606285931893102008-01-10T22:40:00.000-05:002008-01-10T22:40:00.000-05:00It was cream colored and it was a Buick Century. ...It was cream colored and it was a Buick Century. I think Roberta "inherited" it when Grandma's car days were over.

I do remember driving Grandma to appointments, etc. She was not overly enthusiastic about my driving.Serenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10554501674052319714noreply@blogger.com
